Super Saturday Crafts

I thought I would share a few of my ward's Super Saturday crafts.

Toilet Paper Pumpkin. I did a little web searching for this tutorial but couldn't find it.  It IS out there somewhere.  Let me know if someone stumbles across it, so I can give the site proper credit.

All you need is:
toilet paper roll
1 piece of orange tissue paper (roll the toilet paper up, and then tuck the ends in)
1 brown bag (roll up and use as stem)
1 green napkin (cut out leaf and separate layers.  Use as many layers/leaves as desired)
1 black felt face (templates on the web... somewhere. I just looked at the examples and free handed mine.)

River Rock Spiders tutorial at eighteen25
I tried to make mine more crafty than realistic.  Generally speaking, spiders and I don't agree with each other.  These faceless little suckers I kind of liked.

Felt Flowers.  My own simple creation!
The circle flowers I traced from a small bottle, and thread spool.  I cut small V's in the edges, and then layered them (different colored layers look cute too).  I glued each layer together, and then glued the bead on top.

The red bubble flower takes 5 circles the size of a water bottle bottom.  I used a sparkly felt for this particular flower. Use one circle as the base, and the other four flowers fold into fourths.  Glue the sharp corner to the base like pieces to a pie.  After each of the four is glued on, then fluff each piece so it pops out.  I hot glued a single prong alligator clip to finish it off.
