Halloween Frozen style

OLAF the snowman! We love you! We are still laughing at your silly jokes and singing about summertime. Despite all the gushing that has been going on the last year about Frozen, I wasn't thrilled about my three-year-old choosing to be a snowman. I was feeling pretty busy, and wanted him to pick something out of the costume box. We've acquired quite the stash over the years, so he'd still look adorable. My son has a mind of his own, and my ideas were not his ideas. He told me very clearly that he was going to be a snowman! He kept bringing it up, and even told my mom in a video we did for her birthday that he was going to be a snowman. That was when I finally realized that I was going to have to either break his heart or make him a costume. Thanks to Pinterest, I found an easy snowman costume, altered it to what I had around the house, and came up with THIS...
Adorable? I think YES!
Olaf Costume: White t-shirt, Black long-sleeve (optional) painter's hat, black, orange, brown, and white felt, and brown pipe cleaners.
My daughter also requested a Frozen character: Queen Elsa. I pulled up Google and decided that a tutu dress would be the cheapest and the quickest to put together. I am not lying... I had this made in one hour! A few days after this picture was taken, we sprayed the whole thing with some fabulous glitter spray. We both love it!  I now have a snow queen in my house... with hopefully the personality of her cheerful sister Anna =).
Elsa Dress: lined crocheted tutu top (purchased online), and turquoise tulle (3 6-in spools), and long-sleeve white shirt.
