What does fall look like at my house?
Fall means back to school, soccer, dance, piano, homework, and then the extra. My husband goes hunting. Check out some of my kiddos decked in camo to support opening day of archery season. LOVE!
And then there is harvest. We had a giant garden this year. This is just my pumpkin patch. Those adorable orange babies make me giddy! Harvest is about more than just decorating my house in teeny pumpkins, it's about CANNING.
I always do as much freezer jam as I can before fall hits, and then its peaches, appleasauce, apple pie-filling, shredded apples, and if I'm lucky pears, freezer corn, potato soup and jerky. So far I maxed after peaches and apples this year. It's been busy!
Have I been writing? Oh baby! I'm dreaming about writing. I've spent hours editing. But all play and no work means unpublished stories that stay in hidden files on my pc. Not for long! I'm getting really close on two of my stories. Time to start researching where to submit. Eek!
