Writer's Conference? YES!

If you are thinking about writing a book or have a finished manuscript on your pc, FREEZE! Please, please, please consider attending a writer's conference. I hit my second one this year and I learned more than I ever did doing my own research. The writer community is like a big, happy family. Everyone is trying to help each other succeed. Let me clarify, at LDS Storymakers and ANWA conferences I attended, this was the vibe I got. No hoarding of secrets. No pushing and shoving to type "the end" on the next best seller. Just think about it. I can't stop thinking about it. When can I sign up for the next one?
