Time Out for Women

Ever heard of it??  Well, it has always been a dream of mine to attend a TOFW session.  It just never seemed to work out for me.  And then two days ago I received an email that made my day.  It was an invitation to watch the first online streaming (FREE) of TOFW.  Yay!  I watched the first part tonight (which you can go back and watch... make sure you don't miss Sheri Dew's words), and it did not disappoint!  I came away feeling like a woman empowered; capable of doing whatever the Lord wants me to do!  I was reminded of my divine heritage, as well as my responsibilities to my family and all those whom I associate with.  To be honest, I felt like I had a time out! 

I started watching this after a very rough day with my children.  All I could think about this evening, was that bedtime was not going to come soon enough.  As I listened to these incredible women tell their experiences, my selfish thoughts and complaints quickly left, and were replaced by a feeling of peace.  I didn't feel alone in my trials; instead, I felt like these speakers wanted me to succeed.  I know that Lord wants that too, and so created moments like this, where we as women, and as mothers, can go and be refreshed.  It takes courage to be a strong woman today.  It is important that we actively seek good things.  TOFW is definitely one of those good things!!
