Book Reccomendation: The Alliance

Have you read any of Gerald Lund's books.  I have long loved the Kingdom and the Crown series that he wrote.  My friend just recently told me about a different sort of book that he wrote quite a long time ago that is not his typical historical fiction...in fact it is more of a scientific fiction.  I had a chance to read it over the weekend and really got into it.  It was a really interesting, well written, intense book.  It was definitely a page turner.  

So if you are looking for a good book to read, check this one out.
