Lessons Learned
This morning little H threw up all over in the car on the way to school. LOVELY, I know. She told me she thought she might need to but of course I was driving right through a construction zone at that time and couldn't pull over. By the time I did pull over she couldn't make it out of the car fast enough. Yuck! I was so afraid that A & T who were both sitting in the back seat with her were also going to barf because they were both gagging. Funny thing is that when H said she thought she was going to throw up, A told her that every time you need to throw up you just have to swallow and then something (maybe spit?)...and then as soon as she does throw up, he is sitting there trying so hard not to throw up and I thought for sure I was going to be cleaning up a really BIG mess. FORTUNATELY, I had plenty of wet wipes on hand (a mom's best friend) and it was warm enough outside that I could roll down all the windows.
Lessons Learned: Don't give sick children (complaining of upset stomach) dairy for breakfast (she fed herself), always make sick child carry a bowl (even if they say they think they will be fine), make sick child sit in front near exit, always keep bags and sanitary wipes in the car at all times!
And after all that we still made it to school on time.

Sounds terrible! I can't decide which is worse...cleaning up poop or throw up. Mothers have the dirtiest job, but I still wouldn't change it for anything.
