Daily Observations

Today I was driving the kids to school (yes, a daily adventure) and I see an SUV driving the opposite direction of me swerve into the turning lane.  I watch her yelling at her kids, face obviously angry.  She flips a U so she is now driving right behind me.  She quickly speeds past me and and all the other cars....going like 15-20  miles over the speed limit probably in a rush to get back home to pick up something that one of her children left at home causing the rest of the them to be late to school.

Made me think:  hope no one ever sees me yelling at my kids like that. As well as a whole lot of other things that went through my brain when I think about what's important and how I react to my children.  We all know that we treat the people closest to us worse than even random strangers.  Sad, I know.
